What is Google Cloud?

Google Cloud is Google's cloud computing platform, built on the same infrastructure Google uses to run its own products. It offers virtual servers (Compute Engine), containers (GKE, Cloud Run), managed databases (Cloud SQL, AlloyDB), a data warehouse (BigQuery), AI (Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, formerly Vertex AI), and security services on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Using Google Cloud from Türkiye

As of 18 September 2026, there is no Google Cloud region operating in Türkiye. A region is planned under the partnership with Turkcell announced in November 2025. Today, Turkish companies mostly run their workloads in European regions.

European regions such as Frankfurt, Milan, and Warsaw are used with low latency from Türkiye.
For workloads processing personal data, transfer abroad should be assessed under KVKK.
Once the Türkiye region opens, it is possible to start with an architecture that can migrate workloads to it.

Is it free to try Google Cloud?

New customers receive 300 US dollars in credit to try Google Cloud products. No charge applies until you move to a paid account. More than 20 products also have a free tier up to monthly limits.

Can the Google Cloud bill be issued in TRY?

When using Google Cloud through Xen Bilişim, your consumption is tracked under a partner billing account and you are issued a TRY, VAT-inclusive e-invoice. Exchange rate and invoicing terms are stated clearly in the quote.

Is it worth moving from AWS or Azure?

Not always. Google Cloud is strong for data analytics (BigQuery), AI, and container-heavy workloads. We make the decision together by looking at your current bill and architecture. That is what our free cost assessment is for.

Is there a Google Cloud data center in Türkiye?

As of 18 September 2026, there is no Türkiye region in service. A region is planned under the partnership announced with Turkcell. Details are on our Türkiye region and KVKK page.
