Is Gemini included in Google Workspace?

Yes. Google discontinued the separately sold Gemini add-on in 2025 and folded its AI features into Workspace plans. Under the current Turkey plan lineup, Business Starter includes a limited assistant in Gmail. In Business Standard and higher plans, Gemini is available in Gmail, Docs, and Meet.

Gemini and enterprise data security

Gemini within Workspace, for corporate accounts, is subject to Google's Workspace data protection commitments. Google states that Workspace customer data is not used to train AI models without permission. You can still decide from the admin console which users get which features.

  • Features can be turned on or off per user or per organizational unit.
  • Gemini cannot see more than what the user already has access to.
  • Correct sharing settings also prevent the AI from reaching the wrong document.

Does Gemini work in Turkish?

Yes, Gemini understands Turkish prompts and produces Turkish responses. Because language support for specific features is expanded by Google over time, we check the current status together before relying on a given feature.

What is the difference between Gemini and Microsoft Copilot?

Both are AI assistants built into office applications. The most notable commercial difference is that Gemini is included in Workspace plans, while Copilot in Microsoft 365 is mostly sold as a separate license. A detailed comparison is here.
